If you’ve ever tried to search for something on Google.com in the hope it will generate results from the USA, you’ll have noticed that by default, Google reverts back to your country. This is very frustrating for those of us outside the USA who want to search Google specifically for American products, services or information.
However, there is a neat little trick that forces Google to use it’s USA results, regardless of which country you search from. Let’s give it a quick go to see how it works.
First, go to your browser address bar and rather than typing-in www.google.com, enter the following:
You’ll notice that the Google home page comes up and the URL reverts back to www.google.com but don’t worry, you’re now able to search for Google results in the USA. We did a quick search for the term ‘chicken’ using this method just be be sure and here’s what we got:

And if we simply enter Google.com from here in the UK, we get the following results:
