We have just completed a new website design project for Sweeney Todds Barber Shop in Farnham Surrey.
Established in 1993, Sweeney Todds is a traditional Barber Shop offering both contemporary and traditional hair cuts. Why Would a Barber Shop Need a Website?
Whilst Sweeney Todds have been around for over two decades, like any small business they rely on a steady flow of new customers to maintain the Client base. Their problem was that they never actually had a website which meant that anyone unfamiliar with the area and wanting a better class of Barber Shop couldn’t actually discover Sweeney Todds if they searched for a local Barber in Google.
The other issue that Sweeney Todds had was that one of their Stylists worked on a manual booking system which meant they were constantly being interrupted during the day to answer the phone and take bookings. Part of the project was to add an online booking system so that Clients could check availability and book their service via the website.
This feature alone should save several hours every month that would otherwise be taken-up with answering the phone and manually making bookings. It also make it a lot easier for Clients to check and book a suitable time for their visit.

Beyond making the business more efficient, another benefit of the new website is that it allows Sweeney Todds to convey the precise marketing message to their ideal audience. As they are looking to attract the more discerning Client who is more concerned with the quality of their hair cut that the price, the website helps to portray that image.
