Waiting for a bus must rank as one of the most boring ways you can spend your time. However, Qualcomm, a leading manufacturer of chips used in mobile devices came up with a highly novel way to brighten the day for these lucky passengers.
The video features a bus stop in London that has a number of different ad posters featuring different questions such a ‘In a hurry?’, ‘Bored?’ and ‘Seen it all?’. Each poster displays a URL for the passenger to enter into their smart phone…that’s when the fun begins!
It’s already proving a massive viral hit on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube with millions of people viewing the video in just 24 hours.
Looking beyond just how brilliant the concept of this video is, it also shows the huge potential for viral video and it will no doubt help to reinforce the company’s message that they provide exception customer service. This is a big win-win for Qualcomm.
